iPhone review: Broken after 2WEEKS!!!!!

How long are you using your iPhone: 2 Weeks!!!!!
iPhone model (3g,8Gb,16Gb…etc): 3G 8Gig
Just so you know….DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON AN IPHONE!!!!!!!! The phone I bought 2 weeks ago crashed, took a shit and completely locked up on me today. I thought, ok, maybe a lemon phone and went to the AT&T Store. They tried to restart it, which I already had several times, and continued to tell me they could NOT replace the phone at the store. She laughed and asked me if I was going to Denver anytime soon as there is an Apple store there. She told me that if I called the Apple phone number they would overnight me a brand new phone and I would send this one back. I left pissed off. I got back to work and called the number. They guy on the phone told me they could go ahead and replace the phone. I asked if I would be getting a new phone. He said it would either be new or refurbished. I said no, that I had PAID for a brand new one only 2 weeks ago and I expected to recieve a brand new one in return. He said there was no way for him to be sure of what I was recieving. I told him it was bull so he put me on hold for 10 min.
The next “jerk” got on the phone an told me I would get a new phone. I said ok. He then told me that they would send me a bo with shipping lables that I should get in 5 to 7 days. Then put the phone in the box, send it back and then they would replace it then. Leaving me till Monday with no means of communication. They said there was one other option which was to hold the full retail amount (around $400 to $450) on a credit card, charge me $30 and then they could overnight me a phone. BULL ********!!!! I am returning the phone tomorrow and I already rejoined Verizon. They have actually acted like they care. Sorry, I know you wanted an iPhone, but with not having an Apple store closer than 400 miles, the iPhone is NOT a reliable source of commuincation. Bad a** phone, but bull s**t service. If you need to get ahold of me, just Email, send a letter, smoke signal or something else cause I have NO F*****G PHONE!!!!! GRRRRRR!!!


dude..looks like you were just being an ass to the people that were trying to help you. maybe if you were a bit more courteous, you would’ve gotten what you wanted..or at least some kind of compensation. but seeing as how you were an ass, you got what you deserved.
I have had several phones replaced by ATT or formerly Cingular. The best phones that I have had were the refurbished ones sent to me after a brand new one had failed.
My iphone broke after 2 weeks and I went to the store (best buy) and they replace it for a new one, I think is better to purchase the iphone in a store where there have more resposible people. (Always keep the receipt)
