Since the launch of iPhone (and even before) there has been lots and lots of buzz surrounding the new Apple phone. Big expectations and hot discussions like always when it comes to Apple and Apple fans. High expectations and quite a high price left some people disappointed when they got their hands on their iPhones. So there was a flood of iPhone complaints regarding the new iPhone.
This site was first intended just for that - people posting their iPhone complaints. But we soon realized this was kind of to narrow so now you can read all kind of iPhone reviews. Positive reviews as well as negative iPhone complaints. The later are still in majority so if you are looking for iPhone complaints you came to the right site. Just go to the homepage of the site to read the reviews of iPhone or browse this site for some of the iPhone complaints we collected.
If you are looking for iPhone reviews then you came to the right website. You can post your own iPhone reviews or just read what other people had to say about their iPhones.
If you want to review your iPhone and share what you think about it, what do you like, what you dislike with others go here. Or you can just read what other people think of their iPhones and read their reviews of iPhone.
We got another complaint, this time it is from ruth: “Well, Steve, even Ellen Degeneris gave one young iPhone owner in her audience $200 because she felt so bad for the young lady who had been “taken.” Step up to the plate, Mr. Jobs, and return $200 to your, at least previously, devoted audience. Especially since you are only offeing Apple credit, $200 seems like the appropriate compensation, not the mere $100 credit. All the credit is going into your “pocket” anyway.“
It seems this site is not the only one complaining about the iPhone. Recently we found an interesting piece of statistics about searches related to iPhone. There are a few tools on the internet that give you a glimpes in what people are looking for using major search engines. If we try and find the popular searches related to iPhone then iPhone complaints is the secon most searched term. I guess there are a lot of unhappy iPhone owners out there.
Submitted complaint: “Two major flaws with the iPhone: no voice dial and no way to sync a document of any kind (even text) between the phone and your PC. I like the phone but without these capabilities its not very usable especially if you’re used to a pda.” Thanks to plf!
Hi,
I purchased my iphone last month, it’s been over 2 weeks, and I just found out today that the price is NOW $$200.00 CHEAPER??????? The phone has only been out for 10 weeks!!
I find this type of promotion for Mac to be deceitful to the customers who stood inline and purchased one when it came out!! I bought mine about 4 weeks after it’s debut, and If I had known the price was going to come down so soon, I would have waited. I thought the prices were not going to come down for at least 6months to a year. I feel cheated and taken advantage of.
I understand a $100 refund is being given to customers who bought it within 2 weeks of the price cut, well, that doesn’t cut it for the rest of us! For the price to have been cut so soon after it came out is outrageous.
I guarantee you, you have upset your biggest fans, “the people who rushed out and got it, no matter what the price” including myself, and I will not make this mistake again. I feel this was a huge mistake on your part, because the next time you come out with any kind of revolutionary device, customers will not be so quick and eager to rush out and get it, after the low blow you just pulled.
NOT HAPPY iPHONE USER!!!!!:(
Steve Jobs from Apple offered compensation to people that bought the iPhone for 500$ or 600$. Apple reduces the iPhone price for 200$ and caused rage between iPhone owners that paid the full pride for their phones.
The new iPhone price for a 8Gb verison is now 399$ while the 4Gb version will not be produced anymore. This trigered a series of iPhone complaints from angry customers. So Steve Jobse decided to offer a 100$ coupon to everybody that paid the full price. Coupon can be used in any of the Apple stores.
Steve Jobs: ‘We are sorry if we dissapointed our customers, we will do everything to meet your high expectations.”
Will 100$ coupon be enought compensation for the 200$ iPhone price drop? It looks not, read the first hand complaint from one of the early iPhone Buyers.
Instant messaging (IM) is a form of real-time communication between two or more people based on typed text. The text is conveyed via computers connected over a network such as the Internet. iPhone Instant messaging is…it isn’t, there is no Instant messaging (IM) on your iPhone.
iPhone will not run any third party applications. That means all the programs must come praom Apple. Well at least that was the general idea. But as usual, hackers around the world managed to crack the iPhone and remove this barrier.
Useally when the phone battery get weak you just open the back of the phone, remove the old one and get a new one. Well, this is not the case with iPhone. You have to take your iPhone to Apple dealer that will replace the beterry for you. And charge you quite a lot for that.
There is no way to play a video clip on your iPhone. This complaint was already posted before. This is kind of undestandable if you know there is no way to record a video with your iPhone. The built in iPhone camera can only take pictures.
Apple decided to sell iPhones only through one carrier in US. AT&T Mobility is the exclusive carrier of the iPhone in the United States and will remain so until 2009 or later.
I might be complaining to much but there is no document editor or viewer on iPhone.
The first thing people do when they buy a new phone is change their ringtone to express themselves, record a new one… Ever heard a cow ringtone, a child crying ringtone, a pick up ringtone,etc.. well, to bad iPhone has custom ringtones and you are stuck with the alert tones that you have. Lots of complaints about that.
You ttok some pictures and you want to send them to your friends emails. Well, you will have to send them one by one since you can only send one picture at a time in an email.
You can browse the web just like from your computer. But there are some limitations. There is no chance to highlight, cut, copy, or paste any text from a website you are just vistiong, there is also no way to save the images you found.
Apple and iPhone are known for being simple so anyone can use it. No fuss, no lines and lines of setting, you just press it and it works. But sometimes you do need a little bit more. iPhone camera has only one button - take a picture shutter.
You don’t. iPhone has no speed dial. You cant press and hold a button and call the person you saved under that button. There is a quick list alternative, but its not that fast.
Click. Mom. Tuuu…tuuu. That is not possible if you own a iPhone. iPhone has no voice dialing. Now I don’t see people using this feature a lot but ist standard in today phones. You pres just one button, tell the name of the person you want to call and the phone calls it for you. If it can recognize what you said. New phones have built-in voice recognition so you do not have to record yourself saying mom to be able to voice dial her later. You just say the name that you have in you notebook. So this is another big iPhone complaint.
