How long are you using your iPhone: 90 days

iPhone model (3g,8Gb,16Gb…etc): 3G

While on a trip out west, my I phone would not connect a call despite having full 5 bars of service showing. When a call was attempted, it would connect and then promptly drops the call. All bars of service disapear. When calling the Apple and the AT&T assistance line I received NO HELP! Instead they asked if I had a paper clip to remove the sim card. The I was told that I should go to a AT&T store. When I found one, the agent looked at the phone and said “hey that\’s nice. How do you turn it on?” When I found a AT&T store that could look at the phone, they told me the phone was a problem and I had to take to an apple store. I was told that I could move my sim card to another phone if I had an old phone. I was 800 miles from home and and old phone! I had to purchase a $49.95 flip phone to have the ability to talk to someone! Then when I returned home I contacted the AT&T office only to find out that I had to go to the Apple store 100 miles away! Oh yea! I had to make an APPOINTMENT! DO they think they are doctors? What a crock! NEVER PURCHASE ONE OF THESE! There are better phones for less and the local service provider can handle repairs without making an appointment!

Well, this is the one problem I tell everyone. YOU BOUGHT THE iPHONE TOO EARLY. Now AT&T reps are so helpful with the iPhone and I haven’t had one problem with it (and mine is refurbished). With new products like this, you need to wait a few months after they’ve been out to see what kind of kinks can be fixed.

Can you read Nancy? She bought the phone at the end of 2008. The phone had been on the market for a year and a half at that time. How can you call that too early? Have some sympathy.
