I recently purchased the iphone and I am totally happy with the phone. I have read reveiws about the reception being poor and the battery time being sucking…..However, the reception is better than my old phone….the battery time lasted 10 hours of playing different games, playing with the maps, and surfing the internet on my iphone 3g…..Go out and buy the phone it is worth it

I ran out and picked up one of the few iphones available on the day of release. I was excited. The excitement was short lived though. The iPhone is an amazing piece of technology. There’s no doubt. The applications available are second to none. But after using the phone for months, I started to learn it’s weaknesses…Email. The push is just fair at best. It doesn’t work with Yahoo, though it claims to. You have to fetch gmail, and although it syncs with outlook, it has to download every time you open an email. Coming from the blackberry, this was unacceptable for me. I rely on email for my job daily, and the interface just isn’t designed well. It’s time consuming and don’t even get me started on the absence of cut and paste. You think it isn’t a big deal, until it’s no longer there to use. Unfortunately, I just purchased a new blackberry to go back to. I guess my iPhone will make a good little iPod. And with the wifi accessibility, I will still be able to use it at home. It definitely has the wow factor. But if email is important to you as it is to me, the device just isn’t worth it. Apple needs to learn a few things from RIM. If they ever do, I’ll gladly go back.

Iphone, cry-phone.
What is wrong with these Apple people? This is not a phone! The more I use it, the more I get frustrated with its lack of basic functions.
Oh yes, it is great as a Blackberry alternative. But honestly, it sucks as a phone.
Forward an sms? Forget it. Not possible on an Iphone. What about copying and pasting? Unheard of on an Iphone.
Your friend sms-ed you the address of a restaurant? Well, start retyping. No such thing as cut and paste.
Don’t get me started on ringtones please!
I made this fun ringtone for my Motorola Ming. And I was going to transfer it to my Cry-phone. Bluetooth I thought. Easy. Indeed, if only the Iphone would be bluetooth enabled! Oh yes, bluetooth is there. But only for headset connections! How utterly stupid.
Oh well, let’s upload it through the computer. No regular usb cable of course. Only Apple’s cable can be used. Ok, I accepted that as well. Now my ringtone.
Guess what? Not possible! Only songs that have been purchased from the Apple store can be made into ringtones! Oh yes, and these are the people that complain about Microsoft monopolising the market.
This phone is so not worth it! Buy a Samsung Omnia or a Diamond. or a Motorola Ming for 1/4 of the price!
But please. be smart and leave that Iphone for what it is. A goodlooking toy that will frustrate you to pieces!

The screen cracks. Ask someone at an apple store – the screens crack very frequently. Problem is, apple will charge you $350 to make this repair that costs them less than $10. That’s where they get you. That’s where they make all the money. They know the screen will crack. So they get you thinking their phone will cost $200 or $300 dollars when in reality it will cost at least $550 to $650 because the screen will break. Iphone is a lie and a scam.

Apple is terribly sneaky and deceptive about this phone. The true cost of the phone is $350 to $700 more than what is advertised! The screen breaks easily and when it does, apple will charge you $350 to replace it. Not the display. I’m talking about a glass cover over the display. Costs Apple $20 to replace. They make you pay $350.That’s where they get you. That’s where they make all the money. Iphone doesn’t cost $200 or $300. It costs at least $550 to $650 because the screen will break in normal use. I’ll get an unlocked iphone next time.

This is the most expensive and worst “cell” phone I ever had. 4 dropped calls a day on average, loud noises in the background, features that don’t work half the time, constantly freezing up, anything but reliable gabage POS phone. If you don’t have one, go to the other guys for their phones. Apple’s iphone is a hoax!!!!! All your paying for is advertising.

I was excited to get the new iphone. Had to have it.
As a phone, it really doesn’t work that well. You have to go through several steps to do the most simple of things. It drops calls all the time. The front face is all glass, breaks easy, mine cracked in less then a month and eventually shattered soon after (no major trauma to the phone). DON’T BUY IT!
