How long are you using your iPhone: 3 years
iPhone model (3g,8Gb,16Gb…etc): 3g
I purchased an Iphone 3g just prior to departing for Asia. The AT&T representative falsely stated that the phone could be used with local networks in Macau, Hong Kong or the Philippines. $400+ later, I discovered the truth, that I was conned into purchasing a useless device, useless because AT&T BLOCKS u.s. purchased Iphones from being capable of linking with any other international phone service. AT&T refused to unblock the phone, and stated that I had to pay an estimated $3.50 per minute to use the $400+ iphone that I purchased at their store. This knowledge was not presented to me until after AT&T talked me out of canceling my service with them and renewing for another year’s contract with their organization.
The joke is, AT&T keeps emailing me here in Macau to call them about my contract with them… -but how can I call AT&T on a phone that AT&T blocked from me using?
No way, never, and no how, will I ever give AT&T another penny, or pataca, or Philippine peso.
